Here’s a healthy version of samosa for you. This baked samosa is made with all purpose flour, potatoes, onion and peas with seasoning like chilli powder, cumin powder, pepper etc. Try this guilt free recipe with classic mint and imly ki chutney.
Ingredients Of Sooji Toast
- For Dough:
- 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Pastry flour
- 3-4 tbsp Milk
- 1 tsp Salt
- Water
- Butter
- For Filling:
- 4-5 medium Potatoes
- 1 medium Chopped onion
- 1/2 cup Peas
- 1 tbsp Cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- to taste Red chilli powder
- 2 tbsp Vegetable Oil
How to Make Sooji toast
- Knead the dough with the mentioned ingredients and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- In a pan, add potatoes, onions, peas and let it cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
- Then add cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, chilli powder and pepper.
- Mix it well. And then cool it down for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough in a bowl and add the potato filling.
- Cover the filling with another sheet of the dough.
- Spread butter from the top.
- Preheat the oven at 300 degrees, then add your samosa pie.
- Cook till the crust turns light brown.
- Serve hot and crispy with classic mint sauce.
