Sooji toast is one nutritious breakfast dish that is surprisingly easy and quick to make and also tastes heavenly.
Ingredients Of Sooji Toast
- 1 Cup Sooji
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 1/2 cup Water
- 2 medium Chopped onion
- 2 Finely chopped green chilli
- 1 medium Chopped tomatoes
- 1 small Chopped caspicum
- 1 Grated carrot
- 1/2 cup Coriander leaves
- 6-8 Bread slices
- to taste Salt
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 5-6 cloves Grated garlic
How to Make Sooji toast
- Add sooji, curd, water to a bowl. Whisk well.
- Add all the veggies, chilli, garlic and salt to the batter.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the bread slices diagonally into two pieces.
- Heat butter in a pan and place the slices on the pan.
- Once the bread is slightly toasted, flip it. Smear the batter on the top side of the bread and wait till the other side of the bread is toasted.
- Flip the bread again and place the batter on it. Cook the bread on both the sides till it turns golden brown and crispy
- Serve it with green chutney or sauce.
