Sooji toast is one nutritious breakfast dish that is surprisingly easy and quick to make and also tastes heavenly.

Ingredients Of Sooji Toast

  1. 1 Cup Sooji
  2. 1/2 cup Curd
  3. 1/2 cup Water
  4. 2 medium Chopped onion
  5. 2 Finely chopped green chilli
  6. 1 medium Chopped tomatoes
  7. 1 small Chopped caspicum
  8. 1 Grated carrot
  9. 1/2 cup Coriander leaves
  10. 6-8 Bread slices
  11. to taste Salt
  12. 1/2 cup Butter
  13. 5-6 cloves Grated garlic

How to Make Sooji toast

  1. Add sooji, curd, water to a bowl. Whisk well.
  2. Add all the veggies, chilli, garlic and salt to the batter.
  3. Let it rest for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cut the bread slices diagonally into two pieces.
  4. Heat butter in a pan and place the slices on the pan.
  5. Once the bread is slightly toasted, flip it. Smear the batter on the top side of the bread and wait till the other side of the bread is toasted.
  6. Flip the bread again and place the batter on it. Cook the bread on both the sides till it turns golden brown and crispy
  7. Serve it with green chutney or sauce.
